Release

Contract

Stockholm

Applications are considered on a rolling basis

Do you want to work with an app loved by kids all around the world? Toca Life World has millions (and millions) of users with more and more kids discovering the app every day. It’s a live platform for true open-ended play, an ever-expanding space where kids can tell any story they like.

In this 12 month fixed term role as the Release Manager for Toca Life World you’ll ensure that new content is successfully released on a regular basis, constantly surprising and delighting kids around the world.

What you’ll be doing

As part of a small release team you’ll be managing the release process for your project. You’ll work to continuously improve the process and set us up for success as we start releasing content more frequently.

You’ll manage risk and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality. You’ll make sure the app is in good health at all times, and ensure any deviations are handled.

Communication is key in this role, and you’ll be in close contact with the Product Owner, Lead Producer, Tech Director and Producers, keeping stakeholders and teams informed of progress and any changes in release plans. You’ll make sure everyone is updated on release scope and any roadblocks ahead.

To stay ahead of the game you’ll keep up to date with requirements and any changes related to our platforms.

Is this you?

You have relevant experience from a previous role in release management, QA or production, and have worked with CI/CD tools. You’re used to working with regular live releases and technically complex products, within either the games industry or in app development.

To efficiently manage and coordinate the release processes, you’re highly organised and have previous experience from either project management or being in a lead role.

You’re comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, and know how to communicate and collaborate effectively to get the job done on time, at all times. You’re able to see how all contributing parts connect in the release process, and don’t hesitate to speak up when you see obstacles ahead.

You believe in the power of play!

Good to know!

This is a 12 month parental leave cover, based in our Stockholm studio with a hybrid working model (part office, part working from home). You’ll need to be located in Sweden as we are unable to support relocation or offer fully remote work. As we’re an international company, with over 20 nationalities working here, and millions of users all over the world, you need to be fluent in English. Your application should therefore be in English. #LI-Hybrid
