Applications are considered on a rolling basis
Would you like to lead the production of the very first multiplayer venture we have ever created?
As Lead Producer you’ll guide and oversee all aspects of production for Toca Boca Days. You will strategize with the product leadership and work close to all other studio functions, ensuring the product team has the preconditions required to reach Toca Boca’s business objectives and product vision.
What you’ll be doing
As part of the project leadership team you’ll lead the organization and execution of the entire project. And since this our first real-time multiplayer experience you'll be breaking new ground in our ways of working and in building the team.
You’ll lead the team in making sure the game is fun through regular kids’ testing and by delivering features that are relevant and exciting to our audience (kids all across the world). You’ll take us through the development phases into soft launch and beyond. Once live you will continue the work to expand the experience, run live operations and deliver features that take us towards our product goals.
You are a part of the Product Leadership Team, working closely with our Product Manager and Directors to set Goals and Roadmaps. You’ll structure how we work and lead the production team, currently consisting of two producers, and implement processes for collaboration in order to ensure continued success.
You’ll have your mind and brain firmly planted in the future and take responsibility for the long term project planning and delivery. But you won’t be alone! You will work closely with the project’s other producers to improve team processes, validate milestone planning and… Actually, we don’t need to tell you about that - you are an experienced producer after all.
It is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work closely with studio support functions and external project contributors to ensure production operates smoothly and with good collaboration across teams and departments.
Is this you?
You are an experienced Producer who has shipped multiple games in the past. You’ve taken part in all phases of the production cycle, from concept to launch.
You’ve been a Lead Producer before, which means you have an understanding of multiplayer games, infrastructure, team setup and live operations. You can facilitate workshops and manage cross-functional teams and have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
You have the ability to empathize with our target audience and understand the kids’ perspective. You believe in the power of play.
This is us!
Play is in our DNA. At Toca Boca, we make playful, safe spaces where kids can have fun and feel free to be themselves. Over 60 million kids from all over the world play our games every month. Toca Boca World is our biggest game yet, with multiplayer game Toca Boca Days launching in select markets through 2024. Are you in? Let’s play.
Good to know!
