Would you like to be part of building a global IT function where we together find the way forward? Toca Boca and its sister studios are growing and the IT function needs to keep up.

As our Cyber Security Manager your focus will be on Toca Boca and its sister studios Noid and Nørdlight, located here in Stockholm and sharing the same studio space. This role will ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organisation, with a focus on cyber security and app development. You will plan, coordinate, direct, and design IT-related activities as part of the global IT organisation, with operational focus in EMEA and Digital Games environments. The Cyber Security Manager will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support secure technology solutions for all aspects of the organisation. This person will also define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices, with a focus on cyber security.

What you’ll be doing

As the leader of EMEA Cyber Security and strategic planning, you'll foster innovation, plan projects, and manage resources. You'll oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of all IT systems, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity.

Your responsibilities include managing relationships with Managed Service Providers and acting as a point of escalation for alerts. You'll enforce corporate security policies and ensure compliance with Identity Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) standards.

As the technical lead for IT audits and cyber incidents, you'll define secure system requirements for new technology implementations. Staying current with the latest technologies, you'll oversee projects and ensure cybersecurity.

You'll engage in regular communications with peers and business groups to align on IT goals, solicit feedback, and foster cooperation. Communicating with department heads and end users about IT activities is key.

You’ll be analysing and improving IT infrastructure and systems with a focus on cybersecurity. You'll develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT initiatives.

You'll develop and implement IT policies and procedures for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, and service provision. Negotiating and administering vendor and consultant contracts, you'll maintain Corporate Internal Controls Audit and Compliance requirements.

Your commitment to cybersecurity and strategic planning will ensure a robust and secure IT environment.

Is this you?

You have proven experience in IT infrastructure architecture and deployment, with a strong understanding of Operating System hardening standards and extensive knowledge of Role Based Access Controls (RBAC). Experience managing cybersecurity in a game studio is a plus, but you excel in cybersecurity principles, practices, and procedures.

Your leadership skills are complemented by excellent written and oral communication abilities. You are adept at conducting research into IT issues, focusing on cybersecurity, and can present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Highly self-motivated and directed, you pay keen attention to detail.

You have strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritise and execute tasks in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. Exceptional customer service orientation and extensive experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment define your professional approach.

This position is full time and based in our Stockholm office with a hybrid working model (part office, part working from home). We apply a 6 month probationary period. You should already be located in Sweden, as we will not be able to offer relocation for this position. As we’re an international company, with over 20 nationalities working here, and millions of users all over the world, you have to be fluent in English.
