Brooklyn, New York – October 6, 2016 – Toca Boca, the No. 1 mobile-first kids’ brand on the App Store, today launched its highly anticipated video streaming service for kids, Toca TV, in more than 150 countries. This marks the company’s first move into kids’ video.
Toca TV is a reimagined video experience for kids ages 5 to 9. The interactive video platform includes thousands of original and curated videos from around the web, with more being added weekly. With Toca TV, it’s not just about the videos that are available, but the ones that aren’t. Every piece of content is handpicked and prescreened using a carefully designed scorecard to ensure it lives up to Toca Boca’s standards and there is never third-party advertising, sponsored product placement or pre-roll.

Kids can discover new videos by tapping through them in a stack or using the icons to search and browse by category. Once they find videos they love, they can save their favorites so they’re easy to watch over and over again. Toca TV also gives kids the opportunity to get behind (and in front of) the camera. Kids can use the recording tool and its fun, animated filters and stickers to create their very own videos — redefining what it means to play with video.

Toca TV subscribers will also have access to exclusive kid-hosted shows and animated originals produced and directed by Toca Boca.
Toca TV is now globally available for iPad and iPhone on the App Store. Families in more than 150 countries can download the app and start a free trial, after which a monthly subscription of $4.99 will apply (discounts will apply for longer subscription commitments).
