This activity has lots of stuff kids love: taking and posing for photos, making and playing with props and simply being silly. One of our favorite crafters, Kreativa Karin, shows us how to make photo booth props with objects from Toca Life: Vacation.
What you’ll need
- color printer
- cardstock
- scissors
- tape
- wood craft dowels
- camera
- optional: miscellaneous items for backdrops — streamers, curtains, fairy lights, banners. etc.
Step 1: Print
Select an image below to print, or print them all.
Step 2: Cut
Younger kids may need some help, especially if you’re using thicker cardstock.
Step 3: Tape
Tape a dowel down the middle of each prop.
Step 4: Strike a pose!
More fun
- Take your props on the go. Going on a vacation or maybe a day trip near home? You’ll take lots of photos, so why not add some silliness with props? If you’ll be on an airplane, in a hotel, on the beach or sightseeing, kids can tell stories with the same props in Toca Life: Vacation before or after their real-life adventure.
- Get your kids’ photos featured on our website. Toca Magazine Kid’s-Eye View project empowers kids to use their photos and their words to share the world from their own perspective. Your kids can chronicle their summer vacation for a chance to be featured in our Kid’s-Eye View project! Join the project today.
