Toca Boca's Chris Lindgren shares a Mother's Day reflection.
- Carl Frisell
Being a mother sometimes means carrying a crying, almost sleeping 3-year-old on your back while pushing a pram uphill after a full day at the zoo. As long as you get one moment like the one in this picture, it will give you the strength to carry an elephant. It’s always the right time to sit down and draw. There is always a story to be told. Never hurry on a walk. These are things you tend to forget when getting older. Having a 5-year-old in the family puts you back on track again. Thank you baby Lena for making me focus less on my bangs and more on loving you.
