The bundle includes four apps for iOS: Toca Store, Toca Hair Salon, Toca Life: Town and Toca Band.

The Toca Box for Autism Awareness brings you four apps that kids love, specially chosen because they can be great tools for kids on the autism spectrum. With these apps, kids (along with a peer, parent, teacher or therapist) can have fun practicing:

  • social interaction
  • oral language
  • taking turns
  • engaging in pretend play
  • reading facial expressions
  • creative expression

About BridgingApps

BridgingApps was created by parents and therapists who began using the iPad with children who have special needs. This program of the Easter Seals Greater Houston provides families and professionals everywhere an online resource for choosing apps to enhance the lives of people with disabilities and for sharing their successes with others. Their app review system was created in collaboration with speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists.
